Zaphalala Health has undertaken several Research and Development (R&D) activities to capitalise on rich biodiversity in South Africa and availability of the natural herbs to develop and introduce new safe products to the market for family health.

Our company converges the use of Natural Herbs and Science to develop complementary medicines for various ailments
Safety and Efficacy
We have partnered with Nelson Mandela University (NMU) – bioassaix to test safety and efficacy of some of our products. The natural herbs which are being researched for their safety and efficacy are not only sourced locally, but globally.
Our current research resources are focused at the moment on developing Covid-19 medicine. We are in engagements with local and international institutions for possible partnership in the Project.
Zaphalala Health also focuses on developing a Market for the natural herbs’ products, through direct engagement with potential suppliers and end-users.
